Do you do custom paintings?

 

I do! But it's probably best that you email me at Mitchell.Richards (at) yahoo.com to make sure I can do it. The best "bigfoot-able" paintings are landscapes that have a place where the creature can stand. Look in the "Paintings" tab on this site to get a feel for some of the paintings I can add bigfoot into. I charge $50 for the first character, and $10 for any additional character (including the Loch Ness Monster.)

 

Do you ship?

 

I do! If you're interested in a painting, and it doesn't say "SOLD!" under it, and you don't live in the Austin area, we can work something out through PayPal.

 

Do you deliver?

I want a Last Supper painting, do you have any?

 

Probably not! I find all my paintings at thrift stores around OKC, and everytime I see a Last Supper painting, I buy it. However, this is probably my most popular painting and they usually sell really fast at showings. 

 

Likewise, if you see any Last Supper paintings out in the wild, buy it and I'll paint it for you for cheaper ($50). But if you see me post a new Last Supper on the site and on social media (@ThriftFoot on Twitter and Instagram) then I do have one! Come (early) to the next showing to get it!

 

Where did you come up with this idea?

 

I've been in the habit of shopping at thrift stores since I was in high school. In late 2012, I started noticing a lot of landscape paintings at the thrift stores and thought to myself, "There's got to be something you can do with these." Not much later, I had the idea of painting bigfoot into them, the rest is cryptozoology history.
